Modern and good standard hotel, contemporary rooms, bravo!
Amazing location of the hotel, just next door to the Bistro/Cafeteria as well as supermarkets. Besides, very convenient to Playa Del Camello. Extremely comfy beds, terrace, a balcony and sound-proofed windows in the room. A lot of lovely food...

Seaside bliss worth the journey
The fine coastal views from our room made every morning special. The breakfast spread was fresh and varied, and the local bars and eateries nearby offered good dining options. It was a peaceful haven away from the busy city life.
There was a hiccup when we faced a water outage on our last morning. While the hotel staff explained it was due to external work, no accommodations were offered for the inconvenience, disappointing.

The views are wonderful
we got to the room the door was open, we went in, closed it and informed the reception and door opened again several times, it didn't close well. maintenance person told us that he couldn't do anything and to close it very tightly. We did it like this and better. next day when we left we told the cleaning girls to close the door and they told us that it was no problem since they knew that the room was not closing well. We spent the whole day outside and when we came back at night the door was wide open with all our stuff inside. We don't think anything is right. We called the reception again and they told us that they were taking notes. next morning we said it again in reception and after suggesting it they invited us to have breakfast, detail but it does not compensate to have the door open all day and less after saying it several times. We were three people in the room and third bed was two sofa mattresses together, uncomfortable, where you could see the seams and very hard

Chur, the views from our room were sweet as, but the breakfast choices could've been heaps better. Would've loved a wider variety of fresh eats!

The property is brilliant, it has courteous and understanding staff apart from the receptionist who greeted us on our arrival. The location is magnificent, within walking distance of Faro. Every time in Santander we stay in this hotel.

For the traveller who is looking for a hotel near the beach at a more than reasonable price and with a view to the Sardinero I recommend it 100%. As soon as you cross the road you access the pedestrian promenade and a few meters away there is an access ramp to the beach that is surrounded by cafes to refresh yourself and even have dinner on the terraces by the sea. Unfortunately, we could not enjoy all this because it rained a lot that weekend, however, we took the opportunity to visit the peninsula of La Magdalena. breakfast was very good, we had dinner at the hotel very well too, all exquisite and a service and attention of 10. I booked the room with terrace, great, great. By e-mail I made a couple of special requests and contact I had with Laura Perez, Reception Department, was exceptional from the first e-mail to the last one. Not only did she get my requests "granted" but she went far beyond expectations. From here a thousand thanks Laura. reception staff was all friendly and helpful. There is parking in the hotel both outside and inside (the latter is paid) and in the vicinity of the hotel too, I left my car in an area painted yellow to leave the bags and check in, I commented if it bothered, I was told that no but in a minute an area that was limited with cones release it to leave my vehicle freely in it, within the hotel premises at no charge. Great. Great, it certainly is not for me thanks to its staff.

From the first moment we parked the car we started to get a very good feeling about the hotel . The check-in was very easy and fast. The receptionists were very friendly and professional. They even offered us a room with a better view than the one we had been assigned and without asking for it! We arrived early but it was not a problem as there were rooms available and they were able to give us one immediately. The treatment was incredibly good and deserves special mention. The room was perfect. Simple, with the basics and also, very important, really comfortable beds . The location is ideal. Just in front of the Sardinero beach and 5 minutes walk from the beginning of a route that leads to the Art Center of Cabo Mayor, a lighthouse where you will find incredible views. The breakfast of the hotel is very well distributed in one of the rooms of the hotel. Without a doubt, I reiterate the kindness of the service. We heated up the bowl of oatmeal porridge for our breakfast, they gave us lactose-free milk and were super attentive. The food for breakfast is very varied and rich. The Panorama restaurant which is located inside the Hotel is also remarkably good. Good and professional service and exquisite food at an affordable price . We will certainly repeat. Santander + Hotel Chiqui = undoubtedly unforgettable stay.
There's nothing that's upset us about our stay at the hotel. Perhaps it was too hot, but thanks to the incredible balcony overlooking the sea, when we left the door open, a pleasant breeze blew in and cooled the room.

The hotel's staff are efficient.

missingWrote a review on 24 Julsoundproofing issues
The lack of soundproofing results in disturbances from neighboring rooms and outdoor noise, particularly from the bin collection early in the morning. The restaurant's current menu doesn't quite match its chic ambiance, as some dishes, like a sea bass taco that ended up being hake, lack consistency in quality.

Spectacular, in front of the beach; and although it is a 3 star hotel, it exceeded my expectations because of the magnificent value for money. If your idea is to disconnect and enjoy long walks, this is your place. But if what you want is to know Santander... It is also your place!... Start walking along the whole promenade, up to the peninsula of the Magdalena, continue your walk contemplating the residential and "stately" areas until you get into the heart of the city. The location of the hotel will allow you to set daily routes to discover every corner of the city and return at nightfall to a pleasant area with good restaurants, where you can enjoy a nice wake-up call.
The only thing I didn't like was the pillow. Too low and soft. Although during the next ten days on the route through Cantabria, the same thing happened to me in all the hotels where I stayed

Staff very good, helpful and pleasant. Arrived on both occasions to have to park off the parking area but later got a space. No Ac so in October fine but if any hotter not so good. Room spacious and clean. Outside bar area very good. If you want to eat before 8:30pm you can't. Breakfast serving area cramped but food good adn plenty of tables. Overall for the price great location close to ferry port, balcony view over sea.
Room large and clean Location Staff
No AC Parking could be a problem
